Getting Your Estate Planning Into Order
June 19 2008

Estate planning isn't just for the rich and famous. Many people can benefit from estate planning and their loved ones, those who are left behind, will appreciate the fact that you took care of some of the issues before you passed on. No one likes to think about their own demise, but it is a task that should be done whenever possible.

Estate planning, in its most simple terms, is simply setting your affairs in order while you are alive so that your family will not have to deal with them when you are gone. Estate planning is important because it ensures your assets and wishes will be handled and transferred smoothly.

There can be several components to estate planning. The number and level of components is dependent on many factors, all of which you should think about before making any final decisions. Your estate planning might include such things as your Last Will and Testament, naming a Power of Attorney who can handle some of the legal matters, and setting up any trusts.

Some of the assets that you may need to consider include such things as your home, retirement funds, automobiles, cash, stocks, bonds, and other investments. By detailing who you want to get what, you can help your heirs get through probate court with as few problems as possible.

Your estate planning can also include the use of a living trust. With a living trust you transfer ownership of your assets into a trust and then have someone administer the trust. This all but negates the need for your family to go through probate court, which can be expensive and emotionally challenging. Living trusts must be set up carefully, so it is best to work with an expert in the field.

Are you struggling with how to start the eulogy?

Death is a time of change and is approached with great diversity, which goes beyond culture and religion. While some individuals see death as perhaps the greatest tragedy of life, others see it as a time to celebrate an individual's life, and still others quietly, solemnly mourn an individuals passing.

The death of a loved one, or even an acquaintance, can call on you to write or speak about how you perceived or felt about the deceased. Perhaps you are assigned, or appointed the task, or even planning ahead for our own funeral.

It can be an opportunity to speak lovingly, glowingly from your heart...

To speak tenderly about the loss of a child...

Or perhaps it is an opportunity to acknowledge the deceased one's many accomplishments.

Are you struggling to find a way to eulogize someone that you're having difficulty forgiving, or perhaps had contentious relationships with people?

You may be challenged to deliver a balanced, compassionately honest look at a fellow human being who had many bristly flaws.

Or perhaps you're coping with the death of an individual who meant quite the opposite to different members of an emotionally volatile family, or a circle of friends who have a long history of antagonism, or dissention.

You could even have been called upon to deliver a passionate review of someone's life who was almost a stranger to you.

The combinations are infinite.

There are hundreds of opportunities to share about the deceased, such as: eulogies, memorials, obituaries, wakes, newspaper articles, family web-pages, business newsletters or web-site, family Bibles, church bulletins, Synagogue bulletins, newsletters, and funeral remembrance cards.

How does one approach this task?

How do you organize your thoughts?

How do you know where to start, what question to asks and answer, what style best serves your goals?

By ordering our timeless guide now you will receive an incredible collection of bonuses.

Understanding What Happens When We Die
March 23 2008

There is, for all humans, no more fascinating subject than death. Understanding what happens when we die has formed the basis of all religion, most of culture, and major portions of science.

Let The Mourners Come
March 18 2008

Let the Mourners Come

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.

W. H. Auden Poems

Death Arrives Among All That Sound
March 18 2008

Death Arrives Among All That SoundDeath arrives among all that sound
like a shoe with no foot in it, like a suit with no man in it,
comes and knocks, using a ring with no stone in it, with no
finger in it,
comes and shouts with no mouth, with no tongue, with no throat.
Nevertheless its steps can be heard
and its clothing makes a hushed sound, like a tree.

A Bridge Called Love
March 12 2008
A Rainbow Bridge of LoveIt takes us back to brighter years,
 to happier sunlit days
 and to precious moments
that will be with us always.
 And these fond recollections
 are treasured in the heart
to bring us always close to those
from whom we had to part.
There is a bridge of memories
 from earth to Heaven above...
It keeps our dear ones near us
It's the bridge that we call love.

Graceful Passages - A Companion For Living and Dying
March 10 2008

Graceful Passages - A Companion for Living and DyingThis album was designed for the terminally ill in with the intention of providing them exactly what the title says - a graceful passage.

Although a couple of the tracks are almost indecipherable because of heavy accents, the Letting Yourself Be Loved track by Lew Epstein makes this album a must have for anyone willing to do some deep and powerful work.

Just thinking about the power of his words gives me goose bumps.

Although Lew is no longer with us, his work lives on both in this album and in the Partnership Advantage group that continues to bring his workshop "Trusting You Are Loved" workshop to countries around the world.

I'm not affiliated with them and have nothing to gain by mentioning that, other than the fact that I love them and the work that they do.

Unfortunately, the sample track on Amazon.com only includes the introductory strains of music to his track so it's impossible for you to really get a feel for it.

It makes a sensitive and thoughtful gift for anyone in the midst of a major transition in their lives.

 Wishing you all the best,
 Tracy A. Phaup
